Valentines Day is fast approaching...
If you aren't sure what to make to celebrate the day, our team are here to help. We have been busy making some valentines projects perfect for beginners and those at an intermediate level.
Bunting is a really enjoyable and easy project to start with. I learnt how to make bunting a few years ago by watching a tutorial on youtube. It can be a great decoration for Birthdays, Garden Parties and much more.
For this project I used some of our Heart Themed Cotton Poplin Fabrics and Polka Dot Bias Binding. If you want to learn how to make Bunting, you can watch a youtube tutorial here
This is another style of bunting, made by Heather. Fussy Cutting is a great way to add detail to any project - don't these hearts look pretty against the Black Plain Fabric? Want to learn more about fussy cutting? Watch this tutorial here
Scrunchies are another great project, this one was made by Olivia. If you fancy making something to wear on the day to celebrate, scrunchies are a quick and easy project. This one is made using our Tiny Heart Cotton Fabric. Find out how to make scrunchies here
Card Making can be extremely therapeutic, these beautiful cards were made by Debra using a variety of different fabrics and buttons.
Fabric gift bags are an eco-friendly replacement to paper bags, this bag is made by Olivia. Handmade bags make present giving extra special and can be made in any fabric. Find out how to make a Fabric Bag here
If you fancy treating yourself or a friend this valentines, you could also make personalised Pin Cushions, great for those who love to sew. This Pin Cushion was made by Heather using a pattern from Perfectly Pretty Patchwork.
Placemats are another great project and can be themed for any occasion. This placemat is made by Amanda, perfect for your romantic tea or coffee! Find out how to make a Fabric Placemat here
Why not spruce up a Tissue Box and make it look pretty? Debra has been busy making a Tissue Box Cover ready for the occasion. This can be made using any fabrics and decorated with buttons and bows etc. Find out how to make a Fabric Tissue Cover here
Perfect for displaying in a window, these hanging hearts are bound to spread some valentines joy. Amanda has made these using Cotton Fabric and Ribbon, decorated with Buttons!
